    • Ya – nothing more decadent than crepes for breakfast–oh, maybe adding some champagne–want to join me? How is your voice study coming? I have some materials to send your way if your work is still focused there. Hugs, Renee

  1. I love the idea of a “photo essay”! These are gorgeous, as are your daughters who look like their mama. You are such a wonderful photographer.

  2. Pictures with such a wide variety of subject matter and “all” contain the word of excellence in describing them. Well done gal…….

  3. Beautiful! I’d echo the sentiment that it makes me want to go back to Paris but frankly, EVERYTHING makes me want to go back to Paris. If my boyfriend has to go to the mall for pajamas, I want to go to a mall in Paris. LOL Though this has given me a new idea for how to present crepes… Thanks for posting.

    • Thanks for the sweet inspiration – swept up in holidays, family, and kids hanging off me or some electronic device! Some random thoughts: Somedays, trying to accomplish stuff feels like wading through a swamp with all these hangers-on. I have also taken time for contemplation – the Newtown shootings hitting close to home – as I once defended myself from a home invasion from a sociopathic student and another who murdered my friend/ his brother. I had long hoped I would not have to write my thoughts about our cultural fascination with guns, yet I’ve written those chapters about those young men, yet those stories seem unreal because that book is unfinished and unpublished. It may be time to face those old fears and bring my story to the light of day. I was never so thankful as I was to live in Europe and leave our gun culture and my guns behind. I never felt safer. Thanks Tammy!

  4. You have wonderful images of your travels. I have never been, but your images entice me. I always forget to photograph the food when I travel and it says so much about the place and culture. I will try to remember on my trip next week. Your images are an inspiration.

    • Paris can be gret ith kids. Avoid lines and make sure you know when museums, etc. are ope. We often chose secondary, less popular attractions to avoid lines and crowds. Renting an apartment and cooking fir ourselves, povided a place for kids to go whn they got tired. Our kids re adventure diners, but it was nice for the cooks in the family and fir the wallet to take a break and cook… Excited for you and your family!
