Pike’s Market in Seattle has some of freshest and most lush flowers I’ve seen besides my grandmother’s garden and Holland. According to statisticbrain.com, flowers amount to 34% of gifts given for Valentine’s Day.
Oh, Pike’s Place Market is so wonderful! I have many fond memories of walking along the market smelling the sea air mixed with fresh seafood and a light mist of rain sticking to our hair.
I never seem to get my fill of fresh-cut flowers … or gardens filled with them … or photos bursting with them. There’s something so exquisite about a simple bouquet wrapped in paper.

Lovely bouquets indeed. Would most of these be imported?

The area around Seattle is the perfect climate for growing flowers… yet, I wonder if some are indeed imported.
